20 pounds, HALFWAY THERE!!!!!!!

So I officially reached my 1/2 way goal of 20 pounds down. YAYYY!! I feel fantastic and look great if I do say so myself. I'm working out daily again (except today because I'm a wee bit weezy) but I have the last three and plan on going tomorrow after shopping with Kris. It's awesome to see my body getting thinner (finalllly seeing results!) and it's just the best feeling ever.

My next goal is another 5 pounds before I go home from Disney. I really think I can do it with some discipline!

Arggggh

So I worked out really well this week. I pushed my limits and overdid it a little bit on my lower body workout which I felt for three days after, stinting my schedule a little bit. But nonetheless I continued with my upper body workout yesterday. I did pretty well, I pushed my biceps up to 20 pounds for the 6 set which is awesome. I also kicked booty on my chest pulls and was up to 30 pounds on those.

Today I just got back from cardio. I did the treadmill and really pushed myself. I made it up to 5.5 for most of my 9s and did 5.2 and 5.5 for my last two minutes. I'm almost at my goal!!! (5.5 for two consecutive minutes). I'm really proud of myself. And my heartrate didn't go past 175 for my highs so that was pretty awesome as well.

Still no inhaler usage. I think that makes about twice in the last six months. :-) I think I have overcome my asthma, which is really amazing. I still carry an inhaler because it makes me nervous not to but I'm doing so well. I haven't gotten sick once (knock on wood) here and everyone else has at least once. For me, this is basically amazing. I'm pretty impressed and I think it's really the working out which has done it!!!!

Just keep swimming!!!

I have been doing really well with exercising. I have only missed one day which I made up for in the last week because there were no cardio machines open. Besides that, I'm doing great. :-)

Eating is another thing though. I have an addiction to chocolate and I'm having a hard time kicking it. I went shopping yesterday and I bought LOTS and lots of veggies and salad so that's really good because I hadn't been eating much veggies last week. I'm going to keep on track this week because I know when Lane comes we're going to be eating at some awesome places.

The drinking is also very bad. I only have one light beer a few nights a week but still, it's not on the plan so I must stop!!! :-) I know I can do it, I did it before for 3 months, it's just hard. Today is going to be a good day. I'm going to go work out soon and then I'm going to make eggs and have cottage cheese with peaches (my fave, mmmmm). I'll make something later that's pretty healthy and then pack a dinner for work so I should be good then.

Yayyyy for meeee!! And a new program!!!

So I am officially two more pounds down which means I'M UNDER 170!!!!!! YAYYY!!!!!!!!!! I haven't been under 170 in a loooong time.

Yesterday I did my lower body workout in the apartment and today Kris and I woke up to go work out. We did 20 minutes on the eliptical and it felt GOOD. It was a hard workout but it was worth it.

I realized today that I am almost 1/2 way towards my overall goal!!!! Three more pounds until 20 down, which is a HUGE accomplishment. After that I have about 20 more to go, maybe even a little more until I'm really toned and fit.

I feel incredibly good about myself right now!!

Here are my goals for this week:
- Drink as much H2O as I can
- Find new foods I can make with the program
- Eat my veggies!!!

Longterm goals for this new 12 week program:
- Lose as much weight as I can before I go home!
- Keep eating with the program
- Work out in the mornings as much as possible
- Remotivate the Moose to keep going!
- Keep improving my body image

I think I can, I think I can!!!

Alright, I've been doing pretty well here with going to the gym at least 3 or 4 times a week but it's time to really hit it like crazy!!! I have so much time and I should really be able to get there 5 or 6 times a week, especially if I want to drop another dress size by the time I go home in November.

Three days ago I did my lower body workout. Yesterday I did my upper body and the bicep curls with the 15 pounds felt a little bit easier than they did a few weeks ago. Today I went to do cardio and did 5 minutes on the seated bike (yowza that was hard!) and then 15 on the treadmill. I ran for 2 minutes of the 8 and 9 for the first two cycles and then for the last I ran at 5.5 mph for 1.5 minutes. That was pretty good for me!!!!

Tomorrow I plan on doing my lower body again in the apartment. My hammies and quads need lots of exercise!!

I'm so super excited though because I am wearing a small t-shirt size again. I had so many small shirts and I gained too much weight to really wear them but now I can again. :-) Yayy!!!

Fifteen down!!!!

Alright, I'm super excited. Today, I am officially 15 pounds down from the weight I started at when Martee and I started working out at school. That's about . . . fifteen pounds in six months (and I haven't gained anything back!). I'm stoked. I've reached my first fitness goal which was fifteen pounds (1/3 of what I want to lose total, YAY!!) and I'm really excited.

Now, my next goal is to lose and keep off at least another fifteen before I leave the college program. That would put me back at the weight I was when I started college which will be SO good. I haven't been that size since 2004 and I would really love to hit that in the next few months.

I am recommitting myself to eating right AND working out (I've really only been kind of eating right and working out). Today I did my cardio on the treadmill and ran at 5 mph for my highs which is really good for me and I also did my lower body workout. I'm working an 8 hour shift tonight and will probably be pretty darn tired tonight but I have tomorrow off so I can rest up a bit then.

My little goals for this week are:

1 - No more bad food in the cafeteria at work
2 - Make sure I'm drinking enough water
3 - No drinking (on non-cheat days)

My long term goals for the remainder of the program are:

1 - Eat and exercise according to the plan
2 - Lose another 15 pounds (or 1-2 sizes)
3 - Make it to 5.5 mph on the treadmill for at least 2 minutes by January
4 - Keep the Moose's wedding in mind as a motivator

I've already come so far (fifteen pounds is A LOT!!) and I really want to keep making such amazing progress. So, I'm going to do it!! This is the last week of the 12 Weeks so I am going to make it count and turn in my essay and my before and after pics to Body For Life. Even though I've only lost 7 pounds on this program, I'm going to start another one right after this one and keep losing.

Yay for 15 pounds down!!!!
